It’s been about a week since I came back from Japan. Here are some pictures I’ve taken so far in peg.

One of the two rivers runs through Winnipeg. Tariq says it’s not dirty but obviously it doesn’t look clear.

Plant pots of herb and vegetables in the kitchen window.

View from our living room. I like it because we can see roofscape and chimneys of the neighbor houses.

We got this retro radio&record player from a yard sale. Seems like people here love going to yard sale.

Tariq loves making chocolate muffins, chocolateoatmeal cookies and rice krispies. If you see us next time bigger than before, you know who’s fault.

Mari’s wedding in Japan

image038.jpg

Time flies when you are having fun. I knew it and it was true but still I had such a great time in Japan with my close friends and my parents. Two weeks is not enough at all to meet up everyone I want to see. I couldn’t even call some of my friends that I was back in town because if I did, then I would have had to tighten my busy schedule even harder.

Mari’s wedding was fantastic, I cried a lot ( too much indeed ) and laughed a lot till my sides ache. There were 3 more parties after the wedding ceremony - Big restaurant party, Karaoke party and Izakaya (like a bar and a restaurant combined kind of place) party.

Almost everyone had been constantly drinking wine and sake and stuff since around noon and the time we were leaving the Izakaya was around 4 am. So I was afraid everyone would go blind drunk but none of them were after all. I guess drinking sake at festivity won’t people get drunk.
